As a child, he always wanted to study, but instead of going to school, he had to sell firewood with his father. "Sometimes when I was little I cried because I felt like I would never be able to learn and never be able to be someone in life". Says Pedro. He never learned how to read or write. He always wanted to be a businessman, someone important and respected.
