We hope by now everyone has started to think about their favorite children's' books for our #ReadShareGive campaign this #GivingTuesday! There are so many choices out there, from timeless classics to modern stories made for our newest generations.

The beauty of thinking about your favorite children book is it brings you back to those moments of your childhood of picking up a bright new book or taking the time to read with your parents. Looking at images of your favorite books has the ability to evoke so many feelings and memories, and we hope everyone is getting slightly sentimental.

At School the World, searching different children's stories has created a lot of emotions for us! We have taken the time to think of our favorite children's books, and what popular ones are out there we think everyone will love to remember.

Some of our favorite classics include The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, Corduroy by Don Freeman, and Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans. As adults, we often forget about these books, but thinking about them during #ReadShareGive has flooded us with so many sentimental feelings of our childhood.

We want to know what stories stir up all your feelings from childhood! What books make you stop and go, "Ahh, I loved that book!" We know you have some! Share them with us on social media, with your reason for why! Don't forget to use the hashtags #ReadShareGive, #GivingTuesday, and #SchooltheWorld. We hope all your favorite books will inspire others' memories as well!

Don't forget to donate to School the World as well! $5 could give one book to a child in Central America that has yet to make the memories of their favorite book!
