This year School the World started the Clifford-Lawler Scholarship Fund through which we awarded five Guatemalan students with the opportunity to continue their schooling in secondary school. A lack of financial resources often precludes these students from studying past the sixth grade. Wendy and Maria Christina are two of the students who are graduating from Rio Mactzul and will be heading to secondary school and they are so excited to be able to continue their education.
We know that getting these scholarships will help these students reach their full potential! Thank you to those that have helped get this fund off the ground!
