Many of the children practically raise their siblings and become parents themselves at such young ages. Their circumstances are so heavy, it is important for them to play and have fun. The playground also motivates kids to stay in school and the life lessons of gender equality, teamwork, and confidence that games can teach them are so important. On the last day the women, the moms, played basketball. It was so amazing to see the women so involved. The entire week they watched us work, helped us work, and made an effort to talk to us. When it was time for us to leave on the last day, the women even begged us not to go. ## School the World Stories ### Hear from our World Changers about their service experience and read about the latest announcements at School the World! ### Subscribe Here! ### Recent Posts ### Categories - [Service trips (3)](https://blog.schooltheworld.org/tag/service-trips) - [World Changers (2)](https://blog.schooltheworld.org/tag/world-changers) - [Father (1)](https://blog.schooltheworld.org/tag/father) - [Panama (1)](https://blog.schooltheworld.org/tag/panama) - [family (1)](https://blog.schooltheworld.org/tag/family) ## Get Involved #### [![Pledge Your Birthday](https://blog.schooltheworld.org/hubfs/SchoolTheWorld_June2019%20Theme/Images/Gyd7H_tR-e1557366912353-1024x683.png) Instead of gifts, ask for donations & your birthday will change lives!
