Maggie Sullivan is a sophomore at Lauralton Hall in Milford, CT.

IMG_6982My name is Maggie Sullivan and I traveled to Guatemala with Lauralton Hall in February. This is a picture of 6 year-old William and I. William is a student at the school in the village we worked in and has countless brothers and sisters. He is one of the most adorable kids I have ever met, always smiling and laughing and playing with his siblings. This trip to Guatemala was one of the most amazing and memorable experiences I have ever had. I will cherish every single moment for the rest of my life. The most amazing part of this trip was playing with the children in the village. To see these kids, who have so little, be so full of life, excitement and eagerness to learn was beautiful. I truly admire each and every one of them and they have taught me so many things. When I signed up for this trip I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I went into the village believing we would change these kids lives, and although we did, the impact they had on our lives was much greater.
